As the end of year draws near we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for an amazing year. This year has been filled with a multitude of both challenges and successes.
Over this past year we have increased participation significantly, added staff and seen a large increase in junior and senior teams.

This growth is due to the positive culture our community is generating inside our Cougar Family and a lot of hard work from Cockburn Basketball Association staff and administration.
This year we have: had an online skills program during covid, Bryce Cotton visit our Aussie Hoops program, expanded in Melville Recreation Centre, partnered with the Stephen Michael Foundation and hosted Night Hoops on a Saturday night.
We are grateful for the opportunity to work with, and for you. Our passion is helping our members enjoy the sport we all love.
We would like send out a special thanks to our competition coordinator Kathleen Madden, clubs, committee members, referees, volunteers and coaches who assist in running our competitions throughout the year. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and consideration during covid. No matter what the climate has been, we have persevered together and have come out stronger.
Working together this past year has been a pleasure and we’re proud to have you all with us.
As the end of year approaches we know there will be many challenges ahead. But we are so excited to see what 2021 has in store for us – enthusiasm and anticipation are building around new opportunities in new locations. Stay tuned for more details in the new year.
