Over the past three years, the CBA has made it a clear priority to produce some of the best coaching depth in Western Australia. Into 2021, we believe, we are just about there.
We are proud of the evolution of our up and coming Cougar coaches – Noah Stewart, Mackenzie Stewart, Darren Smith, Adrian Sgro, Russell Hann, Jeremy Fletcher, Steve Males and Christian Bauer.
In addition, we have the continued leadership and experience of Andy Stewart, Mark Clayden, Tyrone Thwaites, Jess Van Schie and Simon Petersen – who will work with our existing coaches to mentor them to get the best out of themselves and our Cougar athletes.
Excitingly, we add the experience of Steve Males (former State team coach and PSA Championship winning coach), Peta Small (Willetton), Cougar life member Andrew Musulin and Perth Wildcats assistant coach Jacob Chance.
Not only are our coaches for 2020/21 great at what they do, they have a desire to be better, and ensure they build better humans along the way.
It’s an exiting time to be a part of our WABL program, and we are looking forward to a bigger than ever State Championships and WABL program into 2020/21.
